Born out of a passion for natural beauty that smells as good as it is therapeutic, founder Chloë Luxton spent her childhood on the beaches of Devon and Cornwall treasure hunting the natural bounty of the sea and coast, selecting plants to sell or to crush into flower scents for her roadside stall.
Chloë’s career has moved on in leaps and bounds since, yet this humble beginning seeded her love for the countryside and her ethos of creating her eco-aware beauty products today.
Having launched Bramley in 2009, initially to support her husband’s country pub in Wiltshire by creating natural products for its chic bathrooms, the business has moved on to become one of Britain’s most sustainable beauty brands,
The magic of nature
Created and made in the UK, Bramley’s wide and varied range of products use a mix of natural ingredients and botanicals that are as gorgeous to smell as they are to feel. Chloë works with a Somerset based apothecary to develop her range using the finest essential oils, each with different ingredients and oils immersed with fresh notes of citrus, lavender, geranium and chamomile….nature at its most evocative.
Creating a nurturing balance between skin and mind is key to Bramley. Choose from hand wash, body scrubs, body lotions, sleep sprays and shower oils to shampoo, conditioner and gorgeous Little B products for the kids and Digby for Dogs for your four-legged children. High in antioxidants, each product combines therapeutic properties that focus on you and your needs, whether that’s dry skin, stretch marks, conditioning, sleep or more. Respect for the planet
Nothing harmful or unethical goes into Bramley. We love the fact that all the ingredients are 100% biodegradable, cruelty free and the packaging is 100% recyclable. Bramley are also one of the pioneers to take on the refill shopping experience within the bath and body care sphere, having launched their biodegradable refill pouch.
Reducing plastic is part of Bramley’s DNA, and along with introducing refillable glass bottles and fully recyclable packaging.
