At Lyme Bay Winery, they do things a little differently. Since 2015, the team have been working with some of the England’s top grape growers to create a selection of delicious and award-winning still and sparkling wines.
Lyme Bay is one of only a few wineries that work with growers from all over the country to source the best fruit rather than relying only on what is grown in their own vineyards. Because of this, they have access to different grape varieties that grow better on different soils and in different microclimates and use them to make exceptional still and sparkling wines, that are full of character and suit every palate and occasion.
The team at Lyme Bay also combine their knowledge, wine-making skills and love of flavours and ingredients to craft award-winning Mead, Rum and fruit wines, tailored for the 21st-century palate. Each of these delicious products are fermented, blended and aged, as appropriate at the Devon winery under the supervision of their experienced team.
