A gorgeous vintage-inspired, sustainable babywear brand with a love of hand embroidery, Bay & Fay works with fair trade artisans to produce beautiful clothing to enjoy, treasure and pass down.
Founded by fashion designer, Isabel Bay Protopapa in 2020, after having her first son, Isabel worked as a womenswear designer across the UK high street for many years and felt her style and love for embroidery would suit clothes for little ones. Working with fair trade producer groups in Nepal and Bangladesh, her collection is inspired by vintage details and sustainable fabrics.
Every piece has a story to tell, from the historic inspiration to the cotton farmer, the dyer, the weaver, the embroiderer, all the way along to the little boy or girl who ends up wearing it. You can see and feel the artisanal skill, time and love that has gone into every treasured item.
