It’s no surprise that the enchanting hideaway of Vineyard Hollow at Oastbrook was awarded the UK’s Quirkiest Place to Stay. Channelling the mystery
and magic of a hobbit house, this is a
one-of-a-kind retreat in the
heart of the Rother Valley in East Sussex.

Just a short walk from the 14th century moated Bodiam Castle, this self-catering two-bedroom hideaway was built by local craftsmen to blend into the landscape, with views of the valley made even sweeter sipping Oastbrook wine made from the surrounding vines. With Rye and the beach at Camber close by, this is what an eco-wine-escape is all about.
